Homemade Pumpkin Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
4 tbsp shortening
1/3 cup milk

Homemade Pumpkin Biscuits

Instructions

Step 1: heat kitchen appliance to four hundred and grease medium baking dish.
Step 2: In tiny bowl, mix sugar, pumpkin and milk. Set aside.
Step 3: In medium bowl, mix flour, leaven and salt.
Step 4: employing a pastry cutter or fork, cut shortening into flour mixture till breakable.
Step 5: Add pumpkin mixture to flour mixture and mix till simply moistened.
Step 6: end up on gently floured surface and knead 3-4 times till soft dough forms.
Step 7: Roll out dough to 1/2″ thickness and remove circles exploitation biscuit cutter (a cup or jar can add a pinch).
Step 8: Place biscuits in lubricated baking dish and cook twenty minutes.
