Large Pearl Tapioca Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup large tapioca pearls
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar, divided
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Place foodstuff pearls in a very bowl and fill with water.
Stir the foodstuff around and drain.
Refill the bowl with water and permit to take a seat for a minimum of seven hours and up to long.
Drain the foodstuff and put aside.
in a very giant cooking pan combine milk and 3/4 cup of the sugar.
Over medium heat, bring milk and sugar to a simmer.
once very little bubbles begin forming round the edges of the pan, add the foodstuff.
still simmer for twenty five minutes, or till foodstuff balls area unit largely clear, stirring oft.
In a bowl, mix eggs and remaining 3/4 cup of sugar.
Temper the eggs by intermixture little amounts of the new milk, sugar, and foodstuff mixture till half the new mixture has been incorporated.
Add egg mixture to the pan and stir well.
bring around a boil and stir perpetually for two minutes or till mixture is thick.
take away from heat and add vanilla.
Transfer to a bowl, cowl with wrapper and chill.
